HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE created a capsule collection for Tate, translating the movement and color palette of Henri Matisse's cut-paper artworks into printed clothing. The pieces were offered exclusively through Tate Shops and Tate's online store from September 17, 2026, with later availability planned at selected Issey Miyake stores.

HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE and Tate launch The Snail capsule collection

Tate and HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE launched a 10-piece pleated clothing and accessories capsule inspired by Henri Matisse’s The Snail. The collection was unveiled at Tate Modern on 16 September through the brand’s OPEN STUDIO, with a presentation involving Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company. Products launched for sale on 17 September at Tate shops and online, with selected ISSEY MIYAKE stores added from January 2027.
