Lufthansa Technik and Surventis are testing a new AeroSHARK material on a Lufthansa City Airlines A319.

About seventy small patches on D-ABGK are being assessed through February 2027. The research aims to support future wing and tail applications; it does not mean full wing coverage is already approved. The reported twenty-two equipped long-haul aircraft are a Group-wide July snapshot, not twenty-two Lufthansa Airlines aircraft.
